FEIT
Inspections are always judged by LICENSED, highly experienced, USEF “R”
judges, who are rated to judge the Friesian breed, along with having
extensive experience in other breeds and multiple disciplines.
Horses are presented
in hand and at liberty and the quality of the horse’s conformation, walk,
trot and canter are evaluated, discussed and scored. Performance “Ster
Tests” are also available at some locations.
The HH
believes that inspections are an important tool for breeding good quality
horses. We encourage and want to acknowledge all horses who attend and
score well at any legitimate inspection, judged by licensed judges.
If you have a
horse that had a high placing in another inspection let us know. We will
post it on this page.
NOTE: AWS
inspection scores differ from the scores that are given by FEIT in that
canter is not judged by the AWS. However all other aspects of AWS
inspections are judged on a Sport Horse standard.
BE CAUTIOUS:
There are some inspections being offered by registries that are being
“judged” by people who have no judging credentials and are not official in
any way. We can not accept scores from these non-accredited judges. Make
sure to check the judge’s credentials, before paying to be inspected! |
